BuzzFeed

During my time as a video producer at BuzzFeed, I’ve produced a whole host of videos which, combined, have accrued over 200 million views across BuzzFeed’s YouTube and Facebook platforms.

While my stand-out works can be viewed under “Projects”, below are some of my other favorite pieces that I’ve produced. Except where noted, each of these videos were entirely developed, executed and edited by me. Enjoy!

While the viral success of this video alone (over 4 million views) is fantastic, this video also holds great sentimental value for me, as I produced it to document the love story between my coworker, Merle, and I. Leaning into the “documentary” style that has become a staple look for many of my videos for BuzzFeed, I think I managed to find a way to tell the story in a very engaging but also very sweet way.

“I Became A Celebrity For A Day” was produced during my time in BuzzFeed’s fellowship, where I had a budget limit of $300, and is a testament to what I’m able to accomplish with limited resources. Taking the concept of, I went above and beyond to deliver what I believe is a wildly entertaining video.

“I Spent The Day With An Adult Entertainment Company” was not only an early viral hit during my time at BuzzFeed (8.2+ million views), but it was my first foray into exploring marginalized professions and subcultures. I subsequently produced more videos in this format, including spending time with a Cam Girl, Instagram Model, and Juggalos.

This video is a personal favorite of mine as, after referencing my love for Michael Bublé across multiple videos prior to this one, I was finally able to deliver upon the audience’s desire to meet him by collaborating with him on this video. Even more than just a fun gimmick of a video, I believe this was structured and styled in an incredibly riveting and entertaining way that elevated it to another level.

In my time at BuzzFeed, I’ve always wanted to create the series of videos I’ve produced about the dark web. The video above was my first foray into the dark web. It not only went viral (currently over 3.6 million views), but its run-and-gun style allowed for both an entertaining and informative video for our audience.

Co-Produced with Matthew Real, this is a mini-documentary I’m very proud of where we both hopped on the viral Area 51 raid and managed to tell a compelling yet heartwarming story of friendship and adventure amidst this viral event. I believe that not only was this piece produced extremely well, but the storytelling in it sets it apart from any other content that was produced about the Area 51 raid.

“I Faked Being At Work On Instagram For A Week” was my viral spin (1.5+ million views) on a YouTube trend where people would use Instagram posts to pretend to be on holiday. I turned that trend on its head by pretending to be at work while I was actually on a summer vacation, throwing my creativity into creating a madcap and entertaining hit video.

Linked with my interest in exploring the different professions and interests, “I Worked As Paparazzi For A Day” was .

Shot with a skeleton crew of two local Austrians and I, I spent my final night of my summer vacation in

Shot with just one camera, I feel like this video captures both the chaotic energy as well as my ability to infuse heart.

I produced multiple videos with Michael Franzese, former caporegime of the Colombo crime family, in what highlights my ability to identify viral subject matter. Each of the videos I produced with him went viral within their first week of publishing, with just the two videos above alone (edited by Jillian DiBlasio and Manny Giron, respectively) have received over 16 million views on YouTube.

P.S.: Michael also told me that my videos with him were the favorite media appearances he’s ever done - not too shabby!
